Severe Weather Policy

Since Durham Public Schools are not currently conducting in-person classes, the policy described below will not apply during OLLI's Fall 2020 Term. Instructors will be contacted by the OLLI staff if a severe weather event impacts their class. 

 

OLLI at Duke follows Durham Public Schools for severe weather cancellations and delays:

 

  • If OLLI Durham Public Schools (DPS) are canceled for severe weather, OLLI classes and activities are also canceled.
  • If DPS announces a 2-hour delay, OLLI classes and activities prior to 10:00 am are canceled.
  • If DPS closes 2 hours early, OLLI classes and activities beginning at 3:00 pm or later are canceled.

 

Check your email or call the OLLI office (919-684-2703) to confirm the status of your OLLI class.
